Siam Park Best Rides: Every Major Attraction Ranked and Explained

A guide to every major ride at Siam Park Tenerife — Tower of Power, Kinnaree, Mekong Rapids, and more — with height requirements, thrill levels, and whether fast-track is worth it.

Updated April 2026

Siam Park’s ride lineup is the reason it consistently ranks among Europe’s top water parks. The headliner is the Tower of Power — but the park has more than a dozen attractions ranging from near-vertical drops to family-friendly river rides. Knowing which rides to prioritise, what heights they require, and whether fast-track access changes the calculation is worth understanding before you arrive.

This guide covers every major ride at Siam Park Tenerife with thrill level, height requirements, and tips for getting the most from your visit.

The Tower of Power

The Tower of Power is Siam Park’s signature attraction and one of the most distinctive water ride experiences in Europe. Riders stand on a trapdoor 28 metres above the ground, which opens with no warning, sending them in a near-vertical free-fall through a transparent acrylic tube that passes through a shark-filled aquarium.

The underwater section — surrounded by sharks, rays, and tropical fish — is the visual centrepiece of the park and genuinely unlike anything at other European water parks.

Key details:

  • Minimum height: 140cm
  • Maximum weight: 110kg
  • Fast-track: not applicable (ride has its own separate queue)
  • Duration: the drop itself is 3–4 seconds; total experience including the walk-up is 10–15 minutes

The queue for Tower of Power during peak season regularly reaches 45–60 minutes. Note that fast-track does not apply here — everyone queues the standard line. Arriving early (before 11 AM) gives the shortest waits.

Kinnaree

Kinnaree is a high-speed open slide — riders lie on a mat and descend a steep, curved track. It’s faster than it looks from the ground and one of the most re-rideable attractions in the park. The open-top design means you see the drop coming, which adds to the intensity.

Key details:

  • Minimum height: 110cm
  • Fast-track: yes, unlimited with all-inclusive ticket

In peak season, Kinnaree regularly has 20–40 minute queues. With unlimited fast-track, this drops to 2–3 minutes.

Mekong Rapids

A multi-person circular raft ride through a rapids course — the most family-oriented of the headline attractions. The ride accommodates groups of 4–6 per raft, making it the best choice for families where heights and thrill preferences vary. The rapids are genuine, with unexpected drops and rotating sections.

Key details:

  • Minimum height: 110cm
  • Fast-track: yes, unlimited with all-inclusive ticket

Jungle Snakes and The Giant

Two tube slide attractions — Jungle Snakes is a single-rider enclosed slide, The Giant is a double-rider version. Both deliver high-speed descents in enclosed tubes with sharp corners and sudden drops. For visitors who enjoy traditional waterslide experiences, these are the most consistent crowd-pleasers.

Key details:

  • Minimum height: 110cm each
  • Maximum weight: 110kg (Jungle Snakes single) / 180kg combined (The Giant double)
  • Fast-track: yes, unlimited with all-inclusive ticket

Wave Pool

The Siam Park wave pool holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest man-made wave. The pool generates waves up to 3 metres high across 6,000 m², and operates in timed sessions. Between wave sessions, the pool is calm for swimming.

There’s no height restriction, no fast-track system, and no queue — you enter the pool directly. It’s accessible to all ages and abilities, though the waves are powerful enough to require swimming competence. Young children must be supervised by adults.

The wave pool is one of the park’s most memorable experiences regardless of whether you have fast-track access.

The Lazy River

A float circuit through a themed channel, around the perimeter of the park. The all-inclusive ticket includes floats; basic ticket holders can rent them separately. The lazy river is a natural pause between the more intense rides — slow, scenic, and genuinely relaxing.

No height restriction, no queue, no fast-track system.

Is Fast-Track Worth It at Siam Park?

The honest answer depends on when you’re visiting.

Peak season (July–August, school holidays): Popular rides like Kinnaree, Jungle Snakes, and Mekong Rapids have 20–50 minute queues. Fast-track reduces this to 2–5 minutes. In a 6-hour park day, this difference is significant — with fast-track, you can realistically ride each headline attraction 3–4 times. Without it, you might ride each once.

Off-peak (October–April, weekday mornings): Queues are shorter throughout the park. Fast-track still helps but the time savings are less dramatic. Basic ticket visitors in October can have a very similar experience to all-inclusive visitors in August — the crowds determine the value.

The unlimited fast-track is only available through the all-inclusive ticket at $190. There is no standalone unlimited fast-track purchase — see the ticket comparison guide for a full breakdown.

Tips for Maximising Your Ride Day

  1. Arrive before 10:30 AM. The Tower of Power queue is shortest in the first hour after opening. Even with fast-track, arriving early gives you the best window.
  2. Tower of Power first. It has no fast-track and the queue builds quickly. Target it immediately on arrival, then use fast-track for everything else.
  3. Wave pool in the afternoon. The wave pool operates in timed sessions; queues at the entrance build in the late morning. Afternoon visits are typically easier.
  4. Re-ride Kinnaree and Jungle Snakes. With unlimited fast-track, these are most worth repeating — the short queues mean you can ride 3–4 times in the same period that a standard queue would take once.
  5. Check ride height before you go. The 140cm Tower of Power requirement and the 110cm threshold for most other rides are firm. Measuring children at home prevents disappointment at the gate.
